the golden circle.
Why?
School's are great places for learning, and that's exactly why I like to attend one. Not just for the books and boys, but also for the new experiences and to broaden my knowledge of worldly things, because I don't withhold my creativity and I like exiting my comfort zone. I choose to learn to increase future opportunities, and I love the process that comes along with it. I want to grow as a person and accept mistakes as a part of life, for I believe that's the best way of learning. I believe that learning equals growing.
How?
There are said to be 7 different styles of learning, Visual, Auditory, Verbal, Physical, Logical, Social and Solitary. My primary style is Visual, I paint a picture in my head and envision the topic I’m learning. My secondary style is Physical, I like writing or typing the word out when spelling, organize studying material by colors and shapes, and I can concentrate better when my hands are active. Even though these two styles are how I learn best, I still like to incorporate all of the styles while learning, because the more of my senses I use while studying the better.
What?
1 example from language arts class
I think Mr. Pangiers class is known for having a lot of assignments and deadlines. To some people, this can be either a bad or good thing. Personally, I like deadlines, they push me and because of that I've learned to become a more disciplined person.
1 example from another class
This year in drama class, I learned to get comfortable acting in front of others and not overthinking everything I do that's embarrassing. I believe this is very important for future learning because if you are too afraid of what others may think, then you will never try new things.
1 example from life
When I attended Japanese Junior high school last year, in the span of a month I started to notice what you would call the social rank in my class. I especially noticed this one girl who would seem to be left out of class parties etc. at the beginning of the year I felt peer pressure to not socialize with those people because it was “uncool”, however I got out of that mentality and became friends with her and she ended up being one of the nicest people in my class. So that shows that you should never let others change what you think is right, and be the good example for others.
